The Watkins Trace Trail is a crushed stone trail that runs parallel to Cahaba Road. It connects the Jemison Trail to the City sidewalk system close to Mountain Brook Elementary School. Located on an 54 acre area designed as a green way, the trail is used by residents and visitors alike to enjoy the scenery and get exercise.

On the west and north end of Jemison Park is the Watkins Trace Trail which is 4/10 of a mile and runs parallel with Cahaba Road. The trail winds peacefully towards Mountain Brook Elementary before connecting with the Mountain Brook City’s sidewalks.
