This trail follows the beach meadow which is behind the primary dune and is made up of a variety of flowering weeds, grasses and woody plants. This trail runs from the Swamp Overlook along the primary dune and passes by the southern end of Gaillard Lake. Courtesy: Dauphin Island Audubon Bird Sanctuary
